A card game is a physical game played by one or more (usually at least three) people around a nodal plane (more commonly just called a table) with little or no territorial value. Card games are usually based around serial (turn-based) play and competitive. Many card games use a standard 52-card deck, but plenty also use their own decks (such as Magic:The Gathering).
