During the week, I had the opportunity to deliver a presentation to students on the subject of how to get to work in games. I urged students to look to themselves first and how they could make their own games, rather then just looking to careerism in the games industry as it exists today. As we continue to go forward and the industry itself changes, I think it’s more important than ever to encourage the next generation to think of themselves as makers rather than labourers. Do you agree?
